  1. Timeliness: Reviewers are asked to respond promptly to review requests and to complete the review process within the specified timeframe.

  2. Confidentiality: Reviewers must maintain the confidentiality of the submissions and not share or discuss the contents of the manuscript with others.

  3. Objectivity: Reviews must be impartial, fair, and based solely on the merits of the work. Personal opinions or biases should not influence the review.

  4. Quality: Reviews should provide constructive and detailed feedback on the strengths and weaknesses of the manuscript, including suggestions for improvement.

  5. Recommendations: Reviewers should provide a clear recommendation regarding the publication of the manuscript, taking into account the quality of the work, its originality, and its contribution to the field.

  6. Conflicts of Interest: Reviewers must disclose any conflicts of interest that may compromise their ability to review the manuscript impartially.

The International Journal of Law and Policy values the contributions of its reviewers and is committed to supporting them in their role. Reviewers who adhere to these guidelines and provide high-quality, constructive feedback will be acknowledged for their contributions to the journal.
